Just figured I'd update you all on what I have been up to lately.

Had an amazing four days of CNY with the family. Even though it was short!

Just finished my clinicals in Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Phew!

Am going to study hard for my upcoming final exams for Year2.

How are you, peeps? It is time to update my blog! It has been awhile :( Have been really busy for exams and of course, my clinicals in Terengganu. I can still remember my first day here in Terengganu. Everybody including our patients looked at us as if we are some terrorists. And they even asked if I'm a Malay =/ The people couldn't get use to us in the beginning because we can hardly speak their language. Well it is kinda mutual - we don't understand them and they don't understand us. LOL.I'm sure Jie Yi, Jih Yen and Kashifa are also having a great time, enjoying ourselves here other than the boring hours in the hospital. Well, we went to many places during the weekends. We met new people (good and bad ones! HAHA!), hunting for the best food, shopping (there is only Giant and Mydin here lol).

For the first weekend, we went to the Sekayuh Waterfall, Tasik Kenyir and also Masjid

Terapung. Walking all the way to the second level of the waterfall ain't easy. There is a chance of spraining our lateral ligament of ankle joint lol.

During the weekdays, we were hunting for nice food (Mama Tom Yam, Restoran Cili Padi..etc) and also the keropok lekors everywhere :) The best keropok lekor seems to be from Kampung Losong but we didn't seem to find any good ones there. BUT we found one stall that sells really good ones in the pasar malam at Dataran Shah Bandar.

For the second weekend, we went to the airport, Pulau Duyong, the super BIG museum, Taman Tamadun Islam (Masjid Kristal). We even went to the Pasar Payang to shop for dried keropoks and souvenirs. Wanted to try Mak Ngah Nasi Dagang but each time we went, the shop is closed. Nevertheless, we manage to try at Nasi Dagang Warisan and Alias Nasi Dagang in Kuala Ibai. Yummay:) The food here is rather sweet, urm, we can get diabetes soon Haha!

Yesterday, we went to the Pulau Kapas for snorkeling but we couldn't stay there for one night because one of us is unable to go.

We saw mini turtles too in Gem Island. And today, we went again to the Bazaar Warisan to look for kain batik and keropok lekors for our families. Overall, it was an enjoyable trip to Kuala Terengganu and we spend most of our nights in our hotel to watch korean dramas. HAHA I think I watched two already - Secret Garen and Prosecutor Princess! Man, the korean guys are so hot =/

Anyways, have a great week ahead! And I'm going to enjoy my last week here :)

As you all know, a powerful 8.9 earthquake hit Japan yesterday and triggered tsunami. In Japan, hundreds have been reported as missing or dead. There is still no news from my cousin and his fiancée. Hopefully they are alright and God will bring them back safely. So let us all continue to pray for Japan. Let us all not fear disaster but be confident in the Lord, "Have no fear of sudden disaster or the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for The Lord will be your confidence and will keep your feet being snared." Proverbs 3:25-26

Father, show us Your Mighty Hand.

How's life been treating you lately, lovelies? Currently, I'm loaded with assignments and my finals are just around the corner. Press on Ai Yean!! I should be very stressed out but I kept on reminding myself that All Is Well. =D Oh yeah, have you watched the 3 Idiots? Seriously, you must really watch this movie. Every student should watch. Trust me, you won't regret watching. =D

What is more happier than being posted to the Hospital Kuala Terengganu for my clinical practice. Awesome right? Haha. In need of prayers for accommodation, journey mercy and smoothness in the practice. I believe God will watch over us throughout the one month and keep us safe. Amen!

I thank God for all my wonderful friends! Last week, one of my friend's mom passed away and 15 of us actually squeezed ourselves into two cars, skipped classes, and went all the way to Klang to attend the funeral. Even after that, we went all the way to Klang to make sure that she is fine. It was then I realized how united we can be and how much we care for each other. How do we support each other..and walk the journey together. It was amazing! I simply love my family and all my friends! My secondary school friends, my form 6 friends, and of course, my course mates! I just love everybody larh! Gosh =/

Am I the only one who's insane?

I do ponder if I'm the only one who is insane? There has been so much to cope with lately as a university student who is also trying to live life to the fullest. So much to do, yet time is so limited. Frankly, I think that insanity makes my day and life a even more enjoyable journey. And to have a bunch of friends who can go insane with you is the best way to cheer your day up.

But when people you know became people you knew and when people talk and joke around with became people you could barely look at in the eye, you will realize life sometimes move on too fast, no? In the midst of everything, I was left pondering about myself today. Am I a good friend? Did my actions hurt people indirectly or directly? Did I earn the respect from my friends? Or I'm just a lost person, not knowing my directions? I'm a emo kid.

When I was halfway asking myself these questions, I realized that I just need to be myself. To me now, there is no reason for me to change just to get closer with people who take me for granted. You fight just to build a relationship/friendship. You fight for love/friends. But sometimes, you can't be the only fighting for. At times, people need to fight for you. If they don't, then it is time to move on and realize that what you are giving them is more than what they are giving you. I used to do things for fun, but not anymore. I seemed to lose interest to even go out for a movie and I would prefer to do things that I seriously need to catch up with.

I don't talk much recently, I'm soon to be a loner. Even people thinks that I'm just turning to them for help only but I never blame them. I can understand how they feel. I'm sorry. My bad. On the other hand, did you ever wonder how insane I could be? Try asking my friends.

Sorry that I have been so cold and non-expressive person. Perhaps I will never be who I am before or maybe I don't even know who I am today after a series of events. I learnt that you have to know that you are a good person and a good friend. What is meant to be will end up good and what's not - won't.

So this is who I am. Are we still good?

P/s : I'm not in the mood to study. Sighs.

Even people from all around the world are talking about the suicidal. Well do you think what he had done is worthwhile? He wrote the last note in his life in Facebook, took the last photo of himself crying and committed suicide? I was kinda speechless because I really think no one in this world is worth your life and no one in this world can take away your life away from you except God. Breaking ups are never easy to cope with. But anxiety and depression can be overcome by many positive ways which facilitate motivation (O'Sullivan and Schmitz, 2007, pp.46). HAHAHA to avoid plagiarism.. =D =D

Finally I finished my theory paper and now, I'm waiting to sit for my practicals exam and that's it! Home, here I come. Hehe. But I still need to finish up my assignment which is going to due on the 13th Dec. :D

It is so hard when you know how to fix the lives of others, but you don't know how to fix yours. Sometimes, a good adviser needs a good advise too.

Let go of the things that hurt. Get up, walk away, step outside, get some fresh air and remind yourself of who you are and who you want to be. Thats what I need to do right now.

If appears to be in the library, I will walk away and study elsewhere.
If appears to be in the cafe, I will rather starve.
If appears to be in the front gate, I will rather use the second gate and a longer way.
If appears to be in the lift, I will rather climb the stairs.
If appears to be in Block A, I will rather to go back to my hostel or be in my classroom.

Studying is really a pure pleasure, away from the stress from the real world or is it not? I have got exactly one more month to go for my finals which means I need to study even harder! But I'm taking ages to complete my assignment . =/ Seriously I'm intending to do real studying for now. The Nerd mode is on! For those who will be sitting for examinations, all the best too! Will be praying with you. :)

I have been a very boring person nowadays. It seems everyone is expected to speak even in utter non sense just so we can break the ice and lose the awkwardness of the situation. But now I seem to confine myself in my own world with complete silence but that doesn't mean I'm withdrawing from communicating. For some people, talking seems to be prerequisite. I guess presence is more important and in a certain level of communication, spoken words are no longer relevant. Although nothing much is exchanged verbally between two persons, yet there is a transcended understanding that lies beneath the silence. It could be a very awkward moment yet it would be a precious one because you will then realise how humans' emotions could be so strong.

..despite being sick or I don't look like I'm? hahaha.. It feels so good to be able to help others when they really need someone to help them. It is useless if you stand there, shook your heads and just pitied them. But if you just help them a little, they will be really grateful. You can see it from their faces. When you help others, you don't expect anything in return right? I'm sure the more you give, God will give you back even more! Woah, I'm so happy to see people smile. Sounds crazy? Yeah. It does. Come on, you gotta be happy!

Guess most of us are trying to help this foreigner guy in my class. =) I was touched larh. To see so many of us are trying to help him to get transport for his clinical postings, helping him out for his research paper, teaching him things that he don't understand. You need lots of patience to teach him okay? He can't really speak and understand English. I still don't know if he understands what I'm trying to say to him today. He can't understand me and I can't understand him. HAHA. Fingers crossed. Hopefully we can finish his research paper by tomorrow. Continue to pray for us.

Counting down! Can't wait to be back to my home; a place where I belong. =))

HooOOooray! I'm back to my kampung yesterday night. Phew. Thank God for the safe journey, wisdom, knowledge and good health throughout the week. Although I kinda did badly for my OSCE, at least it encourages me to study even harder. Seriously, my OSCE was really funny. I turned the pelvic bone and femur 360 degrees and I still can't find the number required. Until I found the number, I was cracking my head thinking what muscles attaches there. Got confused eventually. Guess I did badly for these two stations but the rest of the stations should be alright. Hallelujah! =)

Hey, I would like to ask you if I have the "I know everything" look or the "ask me.." look? Because each time in KL Sentral, people will tend to ask me questions and talked to me randomly. OMGsh.. Of all people, why me? I'm cute enough to talk to? HAHA. Perasannya.. =/

Let me tell you about my sesatness first. Today, after I undergo my treatment in physio clinic, I went back to the wrong floor, the wrong room. And when I insert the key, then I only realised that the room is not mines. Happened not once but twice today. =.=

Ahhs, I felt like a pregnant woman now. I walk and eat like pregnant woman too. But the fact is I'M NOT PREGNANT, okay? Hahaha.. Diagnosed with hyperlordosis. First, I'm going to my university's physio clinic not as a student but as a patient on Monday. =(

Second, I will be the model for Cohort 3 seniors during the spine assessment class. oh em gee.

Third, I only have lectures on next Wed and Fri which means I'm gonna rot in my hostel for almost one week.

Forth, I can't wait to sit for OSCE and return to my home!! =D

Well, kids are so adorable, cute, nice to play with yet very annoying at times. Who doesn't love children anyway? Most of us do love children. And for our age now, if we carry baby around, others may think that we have already settled down with a child. =S. For example, when Big Jie was playing with a baby girl today, we really thought the baby was hers. Big Jie, don't kill me when you read this. LOL..

I love kids because I know how much it meant to be loved when I was a kid. And in return, I learn to love the younger kids that now attend church. Orphanage, medical missions to Orang Asli places gave me a totally different way of looking at those younger ones. Which then makes me to serve even more in the children ministry in church. I was once them, alone, but they don't need to go through what I went through. Well, looking at a 5 years old girl in my church who is having severe scoliosis and the other young girl who is a asthenia patient drives me to study harder so to help these kids to lead a near normal life. Aiming too high? Maybe.

So lets get back to studies then. OSCEs are just around the corner. =( Reading Sze Lynn's blog and this picture from Benjamin Tay's profile really made my day lah. I so gonna get that shirt and wear it! And hang that banner in front of my house. Haha. i l.o.v.e. AY. niceee =)

Lets talk about what happened yesterday. So SESAT!! Two cars from Mahsa started journey at about 6.45pm while the rest will meet us there. None of us actually know the way to Klang and we only depend on the Google Map. Seriously, even the GPS don't know the way to Taman Saujana, Klang. Faints. =S And the map given to us is really confusing and we have to guess which road to take. No proper directions.

So we are suppose to use the Federal Highway but we took the wrong turn and ended up coming back to UM. LOL. On the way to Klang, we saw the I-City. The lights are awesome. So we went all the way straight without turning and suddenly the signboard showing that we were heading towards Pelabuhan Klang. Panicked!! Gosh.

And when we looked into the map, we were suppose to follow the road to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah. Followed the crescent sign all the way and we went looking for the Mc D nearby that area. Two cars make illegal turns everywhere and speeding too! LOL. We ended up in another Taman. OMGsh.. So funny.. And we decided to wait for our friend in KFC/Pizza Hut to bring us to Darsh's house.

The party starts at 8.01pm and we arrived at about 8.50pm. Hahah.. Anyway, time for pictures!

I pondered if I chose the right course and university today. I'm not sure about this but it seems that for MBBS students, they are taught about every mechanisms and notes are given to them. Unlike us, we need to study and research all by ourselves. Mr Parthiban told us, "Don't depend on the lecturers. They will teach you the basics and you have to do your own research. You extract info from your lecturers by asking questions. Remember that the lecturers will not spoonfed you." O.O

You wouldn't wanna know how lectures are being taught here. You will go crazy like me too. They cramped the upper limb and lower limb's anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and pathology within 5 weeks. And OSCEs are in between. goshh.. But no matter how difficult it will be, I'm sure we will be able to go through it!

Lets talk about today. Our stripping-off-clothes sessions have officially started. No exceptions. Both guys and girls need to strip off their clothes for practicals. No shirts and pants! I'm serious okay? Not joking. Yeah, it feels awkward but we need to learn. So that's it larh. Everybody looking at each other's FATS!

Well, we met a MBBS guy in the computer lab and he is from the new batch. He sat beside us and then he was having difficulties to log in. So we taught him how to log in, drag the files out from the server and blabla.. And that time, we were discussing about our presentations about the anatomy of hand. So he was kinda surprised, kept looking at us and finally he asked, "What course are you doing?" And we answered him, "Degree in Physiotherapy." He smiled at me..?! Guess what happened next? LOL!! After that, the world started teasing!! =.= oh-my-gosh-larh!

Craps. Need to start cracking my brain again. Good day to you peeps! =)

We are getting stressed up day by day and there is nothing more important than our studies. Really. Problems do arise here and there. When I see someone sad, I felt sad too. I imagine myself in their situation, what would I do? Acting like nothing is wrong is really painful because I know it is harder than thinking about the sadness and sharing it out. Well, I would say most of us are no more like last time where we used to laugh a lot but now each of us will carry a thick book in our hands like a nerd and we are getting more serious in our discussions.

Just don't feel right today. I'm suppose to read my biomechanics book but I have my lazy bones (berat tulang omg so lame). Laziness kills =/

Boohoo.. Studies finally resumed. And we were told to do our presentations next week which means I have got exactly one week to work on it. No complaints so far about the lectures. Currently we are divided into two groups and if the number of students goes up to 60, we will be divided into three groups. Apparently, there are 59 students in our Cohort. Today, I seriously dislike people who move their legs constantly, kicks your chair and the next thing they do, shake their legs. That's what my grandparents used to teach me that we shouldn't shake our legs! Never mind, I shall never sit near them anymore.

As I walk into the cafe today, I saw so many new faces with their purple tags. Handsome guys and pretty girls. But too bad, nobody actually caught my attention to even look twice at them. =.= I'm a meanie. Perhaps looking at my hensem anatomy book would be so much better and I really should stop the habit of sleeping on my biomechanics book.

I'm ranting. It's the 20th day. I should stop counting? Yea, I know that. Blah, I need to go study. Nights.

Can you believe that I actually went to KL Sentral last minute to buy my ticket back to Ipoh at 7am? Haha.. So COOOOOOLL.. Whats so cool about it eh? LOL. Yet another week has passed me by.

But one reason I'm back is because I don't wanna stuck inside my hostel room which is full of viruses. Both room mate and me are down with flu, cough and fever! Haha! Anyway it is more annoying when I woke up today with sore throat. Gosh =.=

Hi Beautifuls!

How is everything for those who are studying? Padikiriya? LOL.. How is life for those who are not studying? Urms, I'm coping very hard with my current life and spending time with my best friends. Ahh wells, I enjoyed talking to them because I'm talking in different languages. From Cantonese, to Hokkien to Mandarin to Tamil and best of all, BM.

Come to think about the mistake I made, I felt glad that I made that mistake! I admit that I felt guilty, sad and angry at first. But when I think again, I did the right thing for myself! First, I watched "The Passion Of Christ" yesterday night. Cried like never before. T.T

Second, I woke up with mixed feelings.

Third, I got pissed with one OLD LADY! How can she be that .... SWEAT....

Fourth, I was happy and sad for three hours!

Fifth, so shocked to see Su Yenn's sms regarding STPM results. Jaws dropped.

SY: Results out next thurs; 25th Feb. Can someone confirm? *faints*

AY: LOLs.. I think it's a rumour lor. Din publish in newspapers oso. *dengan bangganya*

SY: *didn't reply*

AY: *checks online**chats with Karen** received news n grab phone to sms SY* OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG... RESULTS OUT ON THURS!!! =S (damn swt!)

Robber: I want your RING!

Uncle: CANNOT! That's my wedding ring!

Robber: *shakes head* give me your phone

Uncle: *gives phone*...HEY wait! give me back the sim card!

Robber: haihs! *opens phone, pass over sim card*

Uncle: ooi. i don't have money to go back home! give me at least RM10 laa!

Robber: *hands over RM10* *runs off* *poof*

The End.. New technique in robbing. LOL, ahem, wanna rob but also wanna become gentleman.. Sigh. The world definitely has changed! Hahahahahah =) Anyway looking forward to collect ang paus and meeting up with my peeps!
